What happens to my files and library if I cancel Sonilo?
Short answer
Sonilo keeps your project library only while you are subscribed, so when a paid plan ends you lose access to it and to full quality re-exports. Before the plan ends, export every track you want to keep and download the license certificate for anything you publish. Credits you bought stay on your account, and output generated on Pro or Premium keeps its rights.
What you lose when a paid plan ends
- Your project library, which is kept only while you are subscribed.
- Full quality re-exports of old projects, and new license certificates for them.
- Your plan's credits. Free credits (2,000 every two weeks) start instead.
- Paid plan downloads for anything you make next: on Free, music needs a paid plan to download, downloads of video generations are cut to the first 3 minutes, and exports carry a watermark at up to 720p.
What stays
- Credits you bought, which never expire.
- The rights in output generated on Pro or Premium. Rights follow the plan at generation, and a routine cancellation does not withdraw them or revoke a certificate; see what happens to your rights.
- Everything you already downloaded or exported.
Before your plan ends
- Export every video you need, at full quality and without the watermark.
- Download every track, sound effect and stem you want to keep.
- Download the license certificate for each track or sound effect you publish; see license certificates.
Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you paid for, so there is time to do this after you cancel; see cancelling or changing your plan.
Trash and account deletion
Things you move to Trash are removed for good after 30 days. Deleting your account removes everything after a 30 day cooling off period; see deleting your account.
